“Scheherazade” offers a dreamlike plane where narrative takes visual form in a mythical atmosphere. In this work by Esra Soytürk, the abstract shapes and delicate patterns surrounding the figures evoke the Eastern storytelling tradition. The gaze of the central character reflects the magic and wisdom carried by the stories told over a thousand and one nights.

The tranquil blue tones evoke a dreamy night, while the figures shaped by lines visualize the layered structure of the narrative. The viewer is drawn into the imagery flowing from the storyteller’s words.
