Behice Esra Soytürk processes your personal data in accordance with Law No. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data (KVKK) and other relevant legislation as the data controller.

This clarification text has been prepared in accordance with the Communiqué on the Principles and Procedures to be Followed in Fulfillment of the Obligation to Inform published by the Personal Data Protection Authority, in order to fulfill this legal obligation.

Definitions

According to Law No. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data:

  • Personal data refers to any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person;

  • Processing of personal data means any operation performed on personal data, fully or partially by automated means or by non-automated means provided that it is part of a data recording system, such as collection, recording, storage, preservation, alteration, reorganization, disclosure, transfer, acquisition, making available, classification or prevention of use;

  • Data subject refers to the natural person whose personal data is processed;

  • Data controller refers to the natural or legal person who determines the purposes and means of processing personal data and is responsible for the establishment and management of the data recording system;

  • Obligation to inform refers to the duty of the data controller or an authorized person, at the time of obtaining personal data, to inform the data subjects about the identity of the data controller, the purpose of personal data processing, to whom and for what purpose the data may be transferred, the method and legal basis of data collection, and the rights listed in Article 11 of the Law.

You, whose personal data is processed by Behice Esra Soytürk, are identified as a Website User/Visitor due to receiving a product or service from us, and you are regarded as a Data Subject under the Law.

Data Controller

Behice Esra Soytürk is the data controller responsible for determining the purposes and means of processing your personal data and for establishing and managing the data recording system.

Your personal data may be transferred to the relevant authorities without your explicit consent and without any obligation to inform you, if requested within the scope of Article 28/1 of the KVKK.

Apart from this, in unforeseen circumstances, your personal data may also be transferred to public institutions explicitly authorized by law (such as ministries or administrative authorities like the Presidential Boards), within the purposes and limits set forth in the law.

Except for legal obligations that do not require the obligation to inform or your explicit consent, your personal data is not shared with any institution, individual, or organization.

Your Rights Regarding Your Personal Data

To exercise their rights regarding personal data, data subjects must first apply to the data controller. According to Article 14 of the Law, a complaint cannot be made directly to the Personal Data Protection Board.

Under the Law, you have the right to:

a) Learn whether your personal data is being processed,
b) Request information if your personal data has been processed,
c) Learn the purpose of processing your personal data and whether they are used in accordance with that purpose,
ç) Know the third parties to whom your personal data is transferred domestically or abroad,
d) Request correction of personal data if it is incomplete or incorrectly processed,
e) Request deletion or destruction of personal data if the reasons requiring processing no longer exist,
f) Request that the actions taken under subparagraphs (d) and (e) be notified to third parties to whom your personal data has been transferred,
g) Object to any result that is against you arising from the analysis of your processed data exclusively through automated systems,
ğ) Request compensation for any damages you suffer due to unlawful processing of your personal data.
